Campaign Update
Every forward-thinking institution must plan for its future, and Burroughs is doing just that. The master plan developed over the past three years will take hard work and financial commitments above and beyond anything we've attempted before — more than $65 million.
We are pleased to report that more than $18 million has been given for this Campaign through the generosity of our parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents and friends. While this is a long way from our $34.2 million Phase One goal, we are optimistic about the gifts given to date and the many projects underway.
Already in this campaign we have made significant progress in land acquisition ($2.5 million) endowment growth through scholarships and faculty support ($5 million ) and campus expansion and impovements including our new football field, hockey field, Clayton Road entrance and parking, spectator stands, and a major renovation to the fine arts building, among others.
