About the Varsity Coaches
Wendi Sock joined JBS as Head Coach of Girls' JV Tennis team in 2013. In 2014, Sock will join the Varsity program as Head Coach. Played Division I Collegiate tennis at the NCAA ranked #2 University of Georgia (1987-1988) and the University of Colorado (1988-1991) where she ultimately competed at the #1 singles and #1 doubles positions. Career highs include: 1990 Big 8 Conference runner up at #3 singles, nominated for University of Colorado Female Athlete of the year in 1990, 1989-1991 Dean's List Academic All American for three consecutive years, 1990 National Amateur rankings of #21 (singles) and #14 (doubles). Holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado (psych '92) and a Masters of Health Administration from Washington University in St. Louis ('95).
Steve Beauchamp is in his fourth year as boys and girls varsity tennis coach at Burroughs. He also serves as a seventh and eighth grade physical education instructor, specializing in tennis. He brings a passion and enthusiasm for the game which he has been involved with since first striking a tennis ball at the age of ten. Steve graduated from Southern Methodist University (Dallas) in 1989 with a BBA in accounting. While at SMU he competed on the tennis team coached by Davis Cup captain and tennis legend Dennis Ralston. Steve was part of the team that was ranked #1 in the county during the 1987 season.

About the JV Coaches
Anne Sutter joined the PE/Athletics Department as head girls JV tennis coach in fall 2014. Prior to coming to Burroughs, she coached boys and girls tennis at Westminster Christian Academy. She holds a bachelor’s degree of fine arts from Southern Methodist University and previously worked at Tastemaker Inc. and Consolidated Flavor Corporation.
Susie Greditzer joined the Burroughs faculty in 1987. She coaches C field hockey and boys' tennis, is the head coach of C cheerleading and teaches 7th and 8th grade physical education. Greditzer holds a bachelor's degree from Barat College and a master's in political science from St. Louis University.
Girls JV2 Tennis
About the JV2 Coaches
Ellinder Murray joined the Burroughs faculty in 2002 and teaches 7th grade computer science. Prior to coming to Burroughs, she taught 27 years in the University City school district. Murray holds a bachelor's of science degree in home economics from Drexel University and a master's in secondary education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She is currently working on a master's in computer education from Leslie College.
