Moist and rich deciduous woods, edges of woods, prefers some shade.

 Flower
blue, flower clusters hang downwards, petals are fused to form a trumpet shape. The bell is up to an inch long.

 Leaves
Simple, egg shaped, alternate on stem, basal below, without teeth (entire).
