Common Name -  White Campion

 Season
Annual, blooms throughout the summer and into the fall.

 Habitat
Waste places, roadsides, dry fields.

 Flower
Regular,white or pinkish with 5 notched petals. Sepals are fused to from a "bladder" behind the flower head. Flower diameter is approximately 1 inch.

 Leaves
Simple, lance shaped, without lobes or teeth, opposite arrangement along the stem. Some upper leaves and stems have a downy appearance.
