Habitat	Dry woods, fields, roadsides.
Flower	Composite, white to pinkish ray flowers, yellow disk flowers, heads 1/2 to 1 inch wide, rays numerous (100 to 150).
Leaves	Alternate, simple, toothed, soft and hairy, stalkless upper leaves that clasp the stem.
