 Season
Summer and fall perennial.

 Habitat
Moist places, edges of swamps, borders of woods.

 Flower
Ray flowers white, head 1/2" to 3/4" wide, heads form flat clusters, ray flowers number from 7-12, disk flowers are yellow.

 Leaves
Alternate, simple, entire, lance-shaped, petioles short but the leaves do not clasp the stem.
