Habitat	Widely distributed, fields, open woods.
Flower	Composite, ray flowers white to pink, disk flowers yellow. Ray flowers numerous, many small (1/2 to 3/4 inches wide) flower heads.
Leaves	Leaves simple, toothed, with alternate arrangement. Stem hairs present.
