Season	Perennial, summer.
Habitat	Shallow water near the edges of ponds, bays, connecting channels.
Flower	Regular, white with 3 petals, 1/2 inch wide, grow in clusters of 3 from a long stalk extending above the water.
Leaves	Simple, basal, toothless, narrow and lance-shaped.
