Habitat	Moist open places, ditches, meadows, wet bottom lands.
Flower	Composite, purple to pink, ray flowers only, flowers small, 1/4 inch, clusters tend to be dome shaped.
Leaves	Whorled, simple, toothed, lance-shaped with a single main vein. Stem purple.
