 Season
Flowers spring through summer (Late May-June-July).

 Habitat
Open fields, roadsides and waste places.

 Flower
Regular, small (1/4 inch) white flowers with 4 petals, flowers grow in terminal clusters forming a spike (1 -2 " long).

 Leaves
Leaves simple, toothed and arranged alternately on the stem. Leaf is stalkless and clasps the stem. Plant height varies from 6 to 18 inches.
