 Habitat
Rich deciduous woods.

 Flower
Regular, white, star shaped, 3 petals and 3 sepals. The tiny flowers (1/8 inch wide) form branching spike clusters at the terminal end of the stem.

 Leaves
Alternate, without lobes or teeth, sessile (lacking stalks), with prominent parallel veins.
