 Season
Perennial, summer and fall.

 Habitat
Damp fields, ditches, meadows, swamps.

 Flower
Regular, white flowers, very small with 5 petals. Clusters are flat and the flower stalks originate from a single point along the stem (umbel).

 Leaves
Alternate, compound, 2 to 3 times divided, lance shaped, with teeth. Leaf veins end at the notch between the teeth. Stem branches show some purple coloration. Very poisonous.
