Moist places,wet roadside ditches, meadows, low ground.

 Flower
Irregular, lilac to pink color, petals form corolla with two lips, sepals fused, 1/4 inch or less long, form ball-like clusters in upper leaf axils.

 Leaves
Opposite, simple, toothed, oblong. Smell of mint. Stem hairy.
