Jennifer Jones joined the Burroughs faculty in 2011. She is the Director of the Counseling and Wellness Department and the counselor for grades 8, 10 and 12. She also serves as co-sponsor for the student group, Spectrum. Prior to coming to Burroughs, Jones worked as a social worker for Special School District in Ladue and Brentwood — and before that worked as a school social worker in the Clayton School District. Jones has a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Northwestern University, a master's degree in social work from Washington University, and completed an advanced clinical social work fellowship at Yale University.

Kim Bouldin-Jones has been teaching health at Burroughs School since 1999. Along with her work at Burroughs, she is an educator specializing in HIV/STD and Global Disease Prevention. Bouldin-Jones’ work in global disease prevention/education has taken her from South America to Africa where she consults with a variety of organizations to combat problems of HIV, malaria and TB. Her latest project is the start of a non-profit organization, Medical Facility Aid, to help rural hospitals in developing nations. Bouldin-Jones is the vice chair of the Board of Directors for Global Youth Leadership Institute and is a member of the Global AIDS Roundtable in Washington, D. C. She also chairs the Global Health Network in St. Louis. Bouldin-Jones holds a bachelor's in communications from Webster University.

Prue Gershman is the liaison to the Parent Council Family Network, leads the Parenting Book Club, is the sponsor of the Kids Under Twenty-One Club (KUTO), and served as chair of the Counseling and Wellness department for ten years. Prior to coming to Burroughs in 2005, Gershman was a counselor and parent educator with the Clayton School District. She has been in private practice for more than 25 years. Gershman holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Wisconsin, a master's degree in educational psychology from New York University, and a master's degree in social work from Washington University. She is the mother of Burroughs alumni, Charlie '99, Tom '01, and Lara '06.

Sally Kilbride joined the Counseling and Wellness Department in 2015 and is the counselor for grades 7, 9 and 11. Kilbride earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Colby College and a masters in social work from Washington University. She has worked as a school social worker for Special School District for the last 14 years. During her tenure with Special School District, Kilbride worked in the Riverview Gardens, Webster Groves, and Maplewood Richmond Heights School Districts. Kilbride is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Missouri.
