SSAT Entrance Exam dates 2012-2013

Burroughs asks students to take the SSAT by January 13, 2013.

National Test Administration


A student may sit for a test listed on these test dates more than once. Parents may register for National Test by mail, fax or online at www.ssat.org. SSAT does not allow walk-in registrations, though some sites allow standby registrations, which enable families to register up until and including the morning of the exam (online only, additional fee applies and testing is not guaranteed). All National Test sites allow for 30 extra minutes of testing time for approved students. Special Testing Application (A) applies. All National Tests start at 9:00 am. Check-in begins at 8:30 am.

Flex Test Administration

A student may sit for a test listed on these dates only once during the SSAT testing year: August 1-July 31. Parents may register for Flex Test online at www.ssat.org/stlouis. The registration deadline for a regional Flex Test date in St. Louis is two weeks prior to testing; no late or standby registration is available. All Flex Test sites allow for 30 extra minutes of testing time for approved students. Special Testing Application (A) applies. All Flex Tests start at 9:00 am.

*Special Accommodations Testing:  For students with a documented physical challenge or learning difference necessitating accommodations other than 30 minutes of additional time, special testing is offered only on Saturday, December 8 at Priory and Saturday, February 2 at Villa. Detailed instructions for seeking special testing accommodations can be found at www.ssat.org.

Deadline: Special Testing Application (B) must be received by SSAT two weeks prior to the test. Late or incomplete forms will be returned by US mail and may delay testing. Submit application materials as early as possible; not all requests may be approved for the date/site requested.
