Andrew Barnell '07 and Erica Barnell '09, founders of the startup Geneoscopy, were featured in the St. Louis Business Journal on 10.03.19: "St. Louis life sciences startup Geneoscopy, which is developing diagnostic tools for gastrointestinal health, has raised $6.9 million in Series A funding. The oversubscribed funding round was led by St. Louis-based venture capital firm Cultivation Capital and NT Investments, an angel investor group of medical professionals. Lightchain Capital, the family office of Scottrade Financial Services Inc. founder Rodger Riney, also invested in the financing. As part of the new funding, Bobby Sandage Jr. of Cultivation Capital, Najeeb Thomas of NT Investments and Lightchain’s Drew Dennison will join Geneoscopy’s board of directors.
