Ezekiel Elliott '13 was featured in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on 07.01.19, in a story about his recent visit to St. Louis, where he participated in a Mathews-Dickey Boys and Girls Club football camp: "Between drills at Saturday’s camp, a couple of kids caught up to Ezekiel Elliott and, cautiously and curiously, tried to enter his orbit, soak up his aura. Some boys were as young as 7, the age Elliott was when he first played on this very field. And like packs of football players have done ever since, other football players Saturday trailed 'Zeke.' 'This is where it all started, this field right here,' said the Dallas Cowboys running back, who hosted a free camp for Mathews-Dickey Boys and Girls Club at James 'Cool Papa' Bell Stadium in North St. Louis. 'It’s where I played my first football game, scored my first touchdown. And this is my first football coach – he’s the one who introduced me to the game.'" Read the story here.
