After Parents Council volunteers work exceptionally hard throughout the year to raise funds to support the school, it's always gratifying to see how the money is used. At its November meeting, the Parents Council Board voted on how the money raised during the preceding year should be spent.
This year's Parents Council allocated 2014-15 funds to be spent as follows:
- $40,000 to Annual Giving – an unrestricted gift to the school’s operating budget;
- $42,500 as the final installment of the Parents Council's $250,000 unrestricted pledge to the Campaign for Burroughs;
- $7,000 to boost the wi-fi connection in the field house; and
- $26,519 to fund the faculty/staff wish list as follows:
