Where Does the Money Go?

JBSPC_logo_2Cfor web-228.jpgAfter Parents Council volunteers work exceptionally hard throughout the year to raise funds to support the school, it's always gratifying to see how the money is used. At its November meeting, the Parents Council Board voted on how the money raised during the preceding year should be spent.

This year's Parents Council allocated 2013-14 funds to be spent as follows:

  • $40,000 to Annual Giving – an unrestricted gift to the school’s operating budget;
  • $42,500 toward the Parents Council’s $250,000 unrestricted pledge to the Capital Campaign;
  • $7,000 gift to support campus improvements and the 2015 Summer Diversity Institute for Educators; and
  • $25,727 from its 2013-14 fundraising proceeds to fulfill the faculty/staff wish list as follows:
